Comprehensive Education and Support for Level 1 DUI Offenses

Designed to meet Colorado state requirements, this program includes 12 hours of alcohol education over 6 weeks. Our online DUI peer groups offer a convenient and accessible way to fulfill legal requirements while gaining valuable insights into alcohol-related behaviors.

Important Note: Level 1 education is generally for first-time offenders who have a BAC under .08%. This course is not indicated for clients who have multiple DUI offenses, refused a breathalyzer, or had a BAC over .08%.

Comprehensive Therapy for DUI Offenses

Level 2 DUI Alcohol Therapy (Tracks A-D) builds on Level 2 education by offering supportive and confidential peer groups, designed to meet Colorado State requirements and provide opportunities to address underlying issues associated with substance use behaviors.

Group Sessions

Court-ordered DUI peer groups are held weekly, providing participants with the opportunity to engage and receive support throughout the program.

Transition from Level 2 Education

Level 2 Therapy typically follows the completion of Level 2 Alcohol Education, allowing participants to build upon the knowledge and skills acquired during the education phase.

State-Approved

Level 2 DUI Therapy groups are approved by the State of Colorado and the Colorado DMV.

The duration of Level 2 Therapy varies depending on the severity of the offense and may range from 6 to 12 months. Tracks A-D are assigned based on criteria set by the State of Colorado and may be adjusted by the probation department and/or agency, based on treatment compliance and other factors.

Track A

For first-time offenses with a BAC of less than .15%. Track A is 21 weeks following 24 hours/12 weeks of Level 2 Education.

Track B

For first-time offenders with a BAC greater than .15%, including refusing the roadside breathalyzer. Track B is 26 weeks following 24 hours/12 weeks Level 2 Education.

Track C

For multiple offenses with a BAC of less than .15%. Track C is 34 weeks following 24 hours/12 weeks of Level 2 Education.

Track D

For multiple offenses with a BAC greater than .15%. Track D is 43 weeks following 24 hours/12 weeks of Level 2 Education.


DUI Enhanced Treatment

Enhanced Therapy is for clients currently enrolled in DUI treatment, who have been referred by their probation officer (PO), the court, and/or clinician for an additional level of treatment.

Continuing Care Therapy

We offer alternative DUI therapy for clients, with more than one DUI, who have completed the required DUI curriculum. Continuing Care gives clients the opportunity to apply learned skills to everyday life.

A program referral is required to enroll in DUI Enhanced Treatment and Continuing Care Therapy.
